Rainbow Beach Surf Life Saving Supporter's Club Restaurant

The surf club has gorgeous views of the ocean even if you are sitting back a little. We reserved a table for Saturday lunch as it was reasonably busy. We both had fish of the day and due to a buzzer not working our meals were left sitting on the pass. A waitress eventually found us and stated that they had been having problems with the buzzers not working. By the time our meals arrived they were both luke warm at best. We had fish of the day, a small to average size piece of fish with nice chips and a small limp salad. My partners fish was over cooked. I later found out these meals cost $33, I would have picked it as a $22 meal.

Went to Rainbow Beach today and thought we'd try the surf club for lunch. Great views over the beach. Ordered the fish of the day. Which was Red Emporer at $33. Unfortunately our table buzzer did not go off and the waitress had to come out and tell us our meals were ready. Unfortunately the meal must have been sitting for a while, the waitress said the chef had cooked fresh pieces of fish but I highly doubt it. I think he just reheated the fish as it was very dry and overlooked. The chips were close to being cold and the salad very average for the price. On today's meal I cannot recommend.

Able to get all meals as take away. Food ok and reasonable price. Would eat here again. Good views over ocean.

What a wonderful little club this is, it's light & airy with huge windows all around that have fantastic views of the beach & the coast. The meals are very tasty, well cooked & are quite a good price. The staff are also very friendly & helpful. We stayed a little longer after we had eaten our meals, having drinks & just soaking up the atmosphere. We had a wonderful day.
