The museum on-site is a fantastic place to start for anyone wanting to dive into the facts behind the separation wall, understand more about the Palestinian struggle and get a huge amount of further resources. The art gallery houses beautiful Palestinian artists' pieces and the staff is very helpful. Near an interesting patch of graffiti on the wall and the Aida refugee camp (that everyone should visit), this hotel is overall a great base to come and learn and then quietly reflect on some really hard topics, while still feeling absolutely spoiled by the hospitality and experience.
This place costs 3 times as much as everywhere else in town and it is STILL worth it. So unique, the art is amazing, and the museum is realy phenomenal. The rooms are each unique and so interesting and artistic. Staying here is an experience in itself!
It delivered all what it promised and we expected: the sight of the wall with its turrets, the ambiance and atmosphere, the history, the politeness and the feeling of being truly welcome by the staff. We stayed in the Banksy room: I haven't see the other ones but this is nice, large, comfortable and its graffiti are very COOL. I believe spending one night at Banksi Hotel is a must-do if one is in the area. BTW: plan couple of hours to visit the in-house worth of a visit museum.
Did not stay in the hotel. However, this is a must-see for anyone visiting Israel. What an amazing spot to check out. Had a great meal in a marvelous lobby area, decorated with fantastic artwork all around. The museum was well laid out and great to see. The art gallery on the second floor showcased some great local talent. This is a MUST SEE!
We didn't stay but just visited. You can see the pieces of Banksy and others (second floor . A wonderful atmosphere and art pieces with a bit of wits and cynical messages. The shop nextdoor and the museum reception had souvenirs (magnets, t-shirts, bags, pens, replica copy of the pieces, etc. 20nis including museum entry but the museum is a bit like propaganda to show Palestinian situations from their side...
