Matterhorn Golf Hotel - Randa

Excellent and exquisite food, made clear by a gourmet cook. You will appreciate the experience. Very recommended restaurant! Also great bar experience for beer, wine and snacks.

This place is really odd. We stayed here not by choice (we had planned to stay at the Europahutte as we were hiking, but it was closed. So we stayed at the Matterhorn Golf. The owner dominates throughout and won 't leave you alone... We arrived 'too late ' it seemed at 7pm as we had been hiking all day and said we had to eat by 7.30. After some negotiation we moved the timing to 8.30... Dinner is is a very quirky Italian style restaurant with blaring tv 's and what must he the owner 's wife serving us. For all this strange experience the food was outstanding we clearly didn 't get the 'set menu ' but had a fantastic meal cooked specially for us. Then at 9.15, this kitchen closed, the lights went off as did the TV 's and the staff went home. We were still at the table.. Breakfast was a massive disappointment tinned fruit and processed cheese even the boiled eggs were bought in. So a very mixed experience. The room was fine.

Very simple resto hotel, our room was small, clean, correct price, the dinner was very copious, the breakfast asks to be improved both on quality and variety, the bosses are very welcoming and friendly.

I piatti sono uno spettacolo che dispiace mangiare, ma alla fine è un'esplosione di sapori. Grazie all'istrionico Maurizio bilanciato dalla dolcezza di Elena.Se si vuole stare in "famiglia" questo è il posto giusto in una "fredda" svizzera.
