Colfax Ale Cellar - Raton

I loved everything about this place! We were traveling through and not many food options on Sunday afternoon. Excellent IPA, food was amazingly good, and our dog was welcome inside-and he got a treat! What a lucky find!

This restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The beer is delicious and reasonably priced!

One of the best burgers I've ever had! It's a cozy little spot that made me feel like a local while dining there. Our waitress was friendly and attentive.

This is a bar/restaurant combination. Table seating and old-West-style bar. I think kids would be okay here. I would bring my grandchildren here (if that helps) but I think it's mostly visited by adults. Food was good. Waitress was great (I think her name was Iris). She was personable and friendly, service was fast and good. We had simple burger meals which were good. Will visit again if an option.

I usually can find one drinkable beer in a bar. I am picky, not just an IPA. Of 10 beers I loved 4 and found another very nice! 5 of 10 in one place! Owner is brew master and is excellent at TRUE CRAFT BEER. Kitchen has very good food and wide spectrum. Bartenders are awesome, too.Just go try it!
