Caffe Nero - Reading

I was disappointed that this Nero location was unwilling to use my reusable mug, especially since other Neros have no issue with it. They only offered to pour my drink into a paper cup and then transfer it to my mug, which defeats the purpose of using a reusable mug.

I have been a frequent customer at this restaurant for years, but I have been disappointed with my recent visits. It seems there is new management and ownership, which is a shame because the place is now infested with roaches and flies. The odor inside the restaurant is also unpleasant, resembling a urinal. Although the employees are always busy and working hard, I believe the responsibility to maintain a clean environment falls on the corporate management. I will not be returning until the cleanliness issues are resolved and the pests are dealt with.

Oh my goodness! The Bacon Breakfast Rolls at Caffe Nero are absolutely mouthwatering. With their crispy, buttery goodness, you'll quickly devour them and feel completely satisfied. Not only are they savory and delicious, but their pomegranate iced tea is also quite tasty. The atmosphere is like a blend of Panera Bread and a cozy local library, with wooden tables and chairs adding to the comfortable vibe.

The experience we had at this restaurant today reflected the attitude of the barista who served us. She was very rude and rushed us through the line before we could even decide on what we wanted to order. We chose to visit this place based on its reputation, but I can confidently say that I will not be returning. Our food was served cold and undercooked, with a pool of water at the bottom of the bowl. To make matters worse, there was a shell in my egg. The manager provided exceptional service to the customers behind us, while we received a half-full latte in a paper cup even though we intended to dine in (we were never asked). The coffee at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, along with hearty breakfast sandwiches and yummy pastries. The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is great. I highly recommend dining in for breakfast. The price per person ranges from $1 to $10. The food, service, and atmosphere all score a perfect 5 rating. I recommend trying the croissants and sandwiches.
