Westernhuset - Rebild

Very good restaurant in a warm atmosphere, reminiscent of a hunting cabin. Be careful as it is very coveted, so booking is recommended.

We were guests at a 70th birthday party. Rarely have we had such bad food. The main course was roast pork and parsley sauce. The potatoes were overcooked, the sauce didn't taste good and the pork was either soft or extremely dry. The dessert was forest berry porridge with vanilla ice cream, where the ice cream was completely hard and had to stand for 15 minutes before it could be eaten, and there were small stems in the porridge. For the coffee, there was pastry which was impossible to cut at the bottom and the cake itself was dry. The one star is for the young girl's nice and smiling service, and because the drinks were good. A shame as the house is otherwise cosy.
