Still took an hour for our meals (including the kids meal) no explanation as to why it took so long. Food was ordinary and overpriced, steak overcooked. Staff were disinterested and the place was dull. There's better pubs around this area
Went with group including people in wheelchairs. Wheelchair access very poor. Ordered a salad which was quite expensive for very little. Some people in group ordered lobster which was lobster with chips. Quite unimpressive!
This is a very kid friendly place, they are a play ground and games room which is great. I wouldn't recommend eating here if you are hungry, they don't serve your traditional tavern serving sizes. People from my table had to order extra sides when the meals came out as they were just not enough. I use to go here all the time years ago when it was good. Things to change would be serving sizes need to be better, and the prices need to be a little lower...
Our local tavern and a place that we would honestly visit more often if it were better. Sadly there is little atmosphere; little effort made to make the place enticing, and (despite the cheap eats menu through the week), the food offering is very basic and unexciting. It's a shame because it could be a fantastic business if they just got their act together!
We have visited Centenary Tavern twice since moving to Brisbane a couple of weeks ago. The menu has a great variety of options for both adults and kids and in very well priced for families. The staff were all very friendly and the meals came out quickly and were great.
