Hungry Jack's - REDLAND BAY

I visited this HJ camp for the first and, I have to say, last time. I never thought you could ruin a burger that's the same worldwide, but you can. The young girl who took my order had absolutely no idea how to use the register for ordering. The burgers were cold and the onion rings were more dry than any bread I've ever had. It seemed like they were just deep-fried dough. What can you expect when the restaurant is staffed by 14 to 16-year-olds and managed by a 17-year-old? You would think with all the bad reviews they would make changes, but obviously, that is not the case.

These are the worst hungry ones I've ever had. often than not give them the wrong order, much too much sauce, cold burger or a complete mix of the wrong style of burger and bungalow. I waited 20 minutes... with the ride through, went in and said it would be 10 minutes for only 2 burgers. the last three times I've been there in three months, they're from grilled chickenburgers. seriously, I think they need to improve. however, consistently disappointed.

Pleasantly surprised by the good value of the $2 cheesy cheese burger, which was also incredibly delicious. I'm usually not one for almost foods.

A night to dinner. much worse than macdonalds. food was cold, greasy and inedible. would never go back.

Totally agree with most of the other comments re this particular HJ's. It is our local one but we have stopped going there due to constantly not being given what you ordered, meals are luke warm at best and icecream machine is constantly unavailable due...to either cleaning or repairs (seemingly no matter what time of day/night you go or day of the week). Sad we love HJ's when it's good. The store is not always overly clean and don't go near their toilets they're smelly and unclean. I agree with someone who said the training at HJ's is not on par with McD's re customer service etc.
