Original Ragin Cajun - Redondo Beach

This is a fantastic restaurant that I've been enjoying for years. I'm really happy they're back in business. The food is delicious, and the family that runs it is very friendly. Make sure not to be fooled by the imposters!

Wow! The scallops (if they have them) and grits are simply divine! It's like a taste of heaven! If the scallops aren't available, the shrimp and grits will definitely blow you away! The service was excellent, making for a fantastic birthday celebration!

The original owner is back at almost the same location! I went for lunch with a friend and absolutely loved my chicken, corn, and sausage bisque, while she enjoyed the red beans and rice. The Gumbolaya was fantastic as well. The service was amazing—my drink was never less than half full before our server came by to refill it, and she even topped off my bowl of bisque! I'm definitely planning to return and bring more friends with me.

The food is absolutely exceptional, featuring authentic dishes from South Louisiana. The crawfish étouffée and shrimp were incredible! I also tried the gumbolaya and red beans and rice, which were the best I've had in a long time. The service is outstanding; the staff is welcoming and treats you like family. We met Steven last night, and he was such a personality! We’ll definitely be returning regularly. Thanks to Steven and the entire team!
