La Java - Reims

Decided to give it a go. Lovely canal side spot spilling across the road. Food was great. Sat out on a summer evening and felt very much on holiday!!

I had a delicious lunch break in this lovely restaurant-café along the canal. I had the 'vegetarian dish ' which apparently changes every day. Mine contained a tasty parsnip soup, a sweet potato butternut mash, braised fennel, pan fried vegetables and roasted potatoes. My friend had a soup and fois-gras with chutney which she very much enjoyed. Perfectly located, bright, lovely service and tasty food. Highly recommended!

Très bon bistro, bon accueil chaleureux, bons produits et rapport qualité /prix pour un déjeuner entre collègues ou amis …….le service est rapide malgré le « rush » de midi
