I ordered the “Menu” at €27 and it includes an app, main and desert....all above average but my main came with a sauce which could have been warmer. Wife had a large typical Basque salad with includes potatoes, meats, green and gizzards. This was accompanied by a liter of house rose. Don’t turn up your noise....i am retire from the fine wine business and i can tell you that this rose is good and a real bargain. For those who want a more extensive listing, there is a nice list plus tons of cocktails and after dinner drinks. We very much enjoyed our dinner and will return. Fair price, good food and service. Total including tip €60!
We were staying just around the corner from this place and thought we’d give it a try based on the reviews. We started with mojitos, which were ok. Then we decided to share a few tapas dishes between us. There was so much food! All very tasty though. We finished with ice cream sundaes which we really didn’t need but they were very good. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something a little different and are staying nearby.
We spent the night at inter hotel on the edge of Reims, middle of nowhere, thus. Restaurant closed. Google maps revealed L'Espelette, 6 minutes away, also the middle of nowhere...fantastic. Packed to the rafters, we had the luck to get the last remaining table that wasn't reserved! Tapas, so bright red Spanish decor, chilies hanging everywhere, people thrilling to the food, the service, the ambiance, the Spanish-style drinks, in short, a must! Highly recommended.
Great Burger overall with tasty fries (massive amount of fries but it 's ok they 're awesome..and served with mustard..yes! the staff was super friendly and helpful! I don 't speak a word of french and still they were very nice trying to talk to me and help me out with the menu. I only had a glass of Cote du Rhone but I had a look at the wine list and it looks they have a good selection of French and Spanish wines to match the food. I like the fact that it 's not a french trying to do spanish restaurant. All spanish recipes and ingredients are carefully revisited with a french taste. Genuinely good! It 's not cheap but still very good value for money. Money well spent. Clean, looked after and with taste. A life saver during a long trip around Europe!
Mais où est donc passé ma longue narration laissée après notre visite dans ce restaurant en juin 2017 ?
