Kaffi Hjomalind - Reykjavik Island

We visited this cafe three times during our 5-day stay and it was excellent. The ambiance is fantastic, the food is delicious, and the coffee is top-notch. The seating area upstairs is quieter and perfect for relaxing with a book or working on a laptop, while the cozy atmosphere downstairs is also enjoyable.

I recently came here for two coffees. coffee was very expensive and very small. unlike in Canada and the Usa, the coffee in this area is very small and crazy expensive! service was good, friendly and taste was good.

Shame as the food was good, but the waiter with glasses was rude to the other staff, and customers. After I overheard how he spoke to another waitress I wished I hadn't bought anything from them.

The best Chai Latte in town! It can be hard to find a café in Reykjavik that serves Chai, so I was thrilled to discover this cozy spot. Their toasties and pastries are also delicious.

Amazing place, went there twice but stay clear of the waiter with glasses. He absolutely killed the vibe by being rude both times. Last time we were sitting downstairs with computers and had no clue there was a rule that only computers were allowed upstairs...and he made it feel like we committed a crime.
