The food was bland and unappetizing. The noodles were clumped together and had a terrible texture.
We chose this pho restaurant because it was conveniently located near our hotel. The atmosphere was minimal and not very cozy. We ordered vegan spring rolls, a vegan soup, and a vegan dish, which were all good but not outstanding. It's a decent option if you're staying nearby, but nothing more than that. The staff was friendly, and while prices were a bit high for the quality of the food, they weren't unreasonable.
I had the miraculous suppe that was good, but not excessively aromatic. I think I just met the wrong meal choice, as all the other foods, including my partner looked much more beautiful.
Tried to come here earlier in the day around 12 noon but it was impossible to find a free parking bay! We came back this evening around 6 and were able to park easily. There’s a vegan section on the menu which lists 3 dishes, in both Icelandic and English. I opted for the tofu meat with mixed vegetables and satay sauce. It was so meaty I asked if it was definitely vegan! It was very flavoursome. It came with boiled rice which you could top up for free. What I loved about the menu, and I think it’s the future, is that it said ‘Make it vegan tofu meat or tofu instead of chicken and egg’. It was a takeaway place as well as a sit in restaurant. It lacked atmosphere but was reasonably priced for Iceland £29.87 for 2 main dishes, and the service was quick.
