After a little research, this place chose to celebrate my 30th birthday. The restaurant is very trendy inside with many fake leaf and atmospheric lighting. The menu is primarily meat concentrated, but they have some interesting vegan options that is more than some other restaurants. Since it was a special occasion, we chose the 5 course vegan tasting menu. Started by small, but of course 4 we both were so full. Decided to wait a little before dessert, that was very decadent. Many cocktail options and are vegan marked. Only criticism there is a Mayo-style dressing on 3 of the courses that was a little blessed and rich. Service was very friendly and knowledgeable, right time before each course. Actually, it was a good value for money for the amount of food. Each course was fresh and tasty and interesting.
In the last five years to Iceland, it is refreshing to see more plant-based options all over the island. Pünk was recommended by the concierge at our hotel and we were quite satisfied with the experience. While they still eat on a meat clientele, they have several vegan options on the menu, and others can be made vegan. Staff are all very familiar with plant-based foods and are happy to help. The cocktail and cocktail options are also excellent. We only tried about any vegan option on the menu, from the green tacos, to the Broccoli and Tofu Skewers, the falafel confit, and the make üp cakes for dessert (which, frankly, was our least favorite of everything, it wasn't even really a cake... everything else was excellent. It is not a cost-effective outing to be safe, but for a special occasion it is worth it. Also literally everything in Iceland is expensive, so make sure that compass is recalibrated before you come!
