The restaurant offers some excellent locally sourced products. However, it is somewhat pricey. There are several nearby providers of meat, fish, and cheese within walking distance.
This is a fantastic farmer’s market featuring a wide variety of local produce and plenty of vegan-friendly options. During our last visit, we were excited to find a fully vegan ice cream vendor, Little Rye Bakehouse, which offers delicious vegan cookies. We also enjoyed Mei’s Dumplings, which serves tasty vegan veggie dumplings!
The restaurant offers some excellent locally sourced produce, although it is a bit on the pricey side. You'll also find a variety of vendors selling meat, fish, and cheese to browse through.
I stopped by Aba for a tasty falafel and decided to explore the market afterward. As soon as I entered, I was overwhelmed by the strong smell of seafood emanating from a large vendor located in a corner, which permeated about two-thirds of the market. It was quite off-putting and made me consider giving a one-star rating. However, there are many hardworking vendors in the market who shouldn't be held accountable for one unpleasant vendor. There wasn’t much vegan fare available on the day I visited, aside from some farm products. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning because the smell was too unappealing for me.
