The String Bean - Richardson

Rene is unbelievable... the atmosphere is a real domestic feeling... the service is excellent and the food is definitely worth the trip...if You're ever in the area... be sure to stop during lunchtime... I highly recommend coming here...we will definitely come back in the near future!!!

My wife and I decided to try The String Bean tonight after searching Google for high-rated restaurants and seeing her daily special taco salad. We ordered the call, call in order on the way there. My wife chose the grilled Tilapia. Immediately I was impressed by the care and friendliness they expressed on the phone. Excellent customer service. The inside of the restaurant feels very comfortable. While we waited for our food to be ready, I commented that's what Bennigan should have been. The staff was as friendly as the phone. A waiter came out to sit down and eat his own food, but even he stopped to make sure we watch. Our food came out pretty fast, about 15 minutes after the order. The ticket on the outside of the bag confirmed our order Taco Salad, no olives, ranch and salsa on the side, Tilapia with steamed broccoli and corn, tart sauce on the side. As soon as we came home, we realized that my taco salad had become a kind of pork roast with macaroni and cheese and corn. Big time bummer. If there could be an opposite of a taco salad, it would be. I called back to the restaurant and they explained that something else had ordered them to ask themselves what happened to them. I guess the extra Taco salad was probably a hint of what happened with it. Too far away to get there before you close, they first offered me credit for a free meal at my next visit. I took on and thanked them, but then after they spoke to the manager, they said they couldn't. Instead, they said they were credited to my card for the amount of Taco salad. My wife Tilapia saw and tasted delicious. Perfectly cooked, apart tilapia, with a beautiful charcoal on the outside. The pig was sweet and it was very hard. I'm sure they expect them to appreciate it. I tried to make a sandwich with meat, add some onions and pimples and one of the roles they give you with your order. This was a disappointing experience, especially with how great the customer service was and how comfortable and friendly the experience was, otherwise. How to hit a drive home just to pull your hamstring while the bases run. I worked in the service industry for years and I understand mistakes. There were times when I would wake up in the middle of the night in horror, as my mind decided to finally remember that a customer who asked for something I never brought. I guess this experience was also disappointing for the very nice staff who abused a pig roast for a taco salad. Make sure to leave your order before you leave here.

Good food. The appetizers were hot and delicious. A little slow to get the main meal times. Not sure what was going on, but the orders were correct and the meals were hot. Can't say enough good about beef and mushroom soup. Sooo good. Desserts were also delicious. Will definitely be back.

This is a large local family home cooking style restaurant that has a variety of offers. Really good food, great staff. Very recommended.

Visited The String Bean Restaurant for the first time last night and we had a wonderful dinner! Our waiter was fantastic, our meals were prompt and hot, and the portions were ample. Mom thought the cole slaw needed a touch of vinegar but that was the only thing that any of us wished was different. The banana pudding is superb!!! We're already looking forward to our next visit. Thanks for a wonderful meal, String Bean!
