I stopped by on a co-workers recommendation, I was in the area and was pleasantly surprised, it's huge and welcoming all at once. Rustic decor and amazing smells. I tried the cinnamon honey latte recommended by the cashier and it was ?, also had a warmed pistachio muffin, it was green and incredible, I smashed it! ?Turns out the place hosts an Airbnb upstairs, I can't imagine waking up to the smells of their gourmet coffee brewing in the AM... I hope to stay there one day soon.I wished I lived or worked closer... Richmond locals are so lucky to have their own true cafe...It has a great feel to: pass the time, host an informal business meeting, meet with an old friend or just get a great cup of beans for no reason at all.Great job, definitely a return stop for me.

The Richmond Cafe is my favorite sit-down breakfast spot in McHenry County. The way they decorated the space is cozy and the staff is warm inviting. The coffee is great. Everything I’ve ever ordered there has been delicious and full of flavor.

Great coffee and food. They serve Hansa coffee and it is great. I also had breakfast here. I got a breakfast burrito. Since I am celiac I asked about gluten free and they accommodated me. What does that mean? It means I got the burrito without the flour wrap and without the hash browns and the sauce they add because they all had gluten. Instead, I got a parfait on the side and it was great. It is a cute place inside and has a lot of ambiance. The service is great too. So, when you pass through this town going to Geneva or wherever, it is not a bad stop at all. They must have had a wedding or something going on upstairs. It looked like the groom and groomsmen were all getting a coffee. LOL.

Just had breakfast here and I have to say it was absolutely excellent. This is now my new favorite breakfast place a MUST go!
