The Good Earth Express

The food at this restaurant was awful. I ordered the minimum chicken with extra vegetables and black bean sauce with boiled rice over the phone. When I got home, there was a lot of chicken but very few vegetables and barely any sauce, just big chunks of broccoli. The rice was also clumped together. When I called to complain, Good Earth sent out a replacement meal, but it was mainly chicken with more large broccoli chunks and very few other vegetables. After complaining again on the phone, I was rudely cut off. I threw the meal away. I will never return to this place; stay away, it's no wonder the reviews are terrible.

This restaurant used to be pricey, but now it's just plain overpriced. The portions are large, but the food is dull and unimpressive. The menu has stayed the same for a decade, but the prices continue to rise. The fillet steak with fruity sauce was one of the most disappointing dishes I've ever tried.

We ordered over £80 worth of food and felt that it was very poor value. The food was lukewarm on delivery and lacking in flavour. The Singapore noodles were dry and tasteless. The helpings were small and overall the meals were disappointing and poor value for money.

I tried this place for the very first time after moving to Richmond since a year. I only bought vegetable spring rolls and asked for some sauce and the manager and staff looked at me as if I was an idiot and had never eaten Chinese takeaway before. Instead of saying we don’t offer but if you would like some sauce to dip your spring roll I would have appreciated the gesture. Overpriced £7 for rolls and the frozen supermarket ones taste much better. Never ever stepping a foot in that place. Huge disappointment

Really over priced arrived cold small portions. We were missing a dish so I called for a refund. They took my card number and charged me again. So I paid twice for a dish we didn't get! Avoid
