Hatcher's Manor - Richmond

Upon arrival, I was greeted by horses and chickens in the garden. The rooms are spacious and the decor has a vintage 1980s charm, as mentioned in the reviews. This establishment is not a trendy, contemporary hotel, but rather a serene country manor. It is a delightful experience to stay somewhere so distinctive and peaceful.

This restaurant is a must-visit for its delicious meals that taste like homemade cooking. The entree sizes were generous, almost like a full meal on their own. The service was also excellent.

The restaurant was quite outdated and expensive for what we received. The beds were uncomfortable and the spa was not functioning. We had pre-ordered breakfast on the booking website the day before, but when we went to get it at 8 am, there was no one around. We ended up having to go elsewhere for breakfast after already paying for it.

This is a reproduction of an English estate, The hosts are quite nice and showed us all the original plans. The rent was quite reasonable

Great self contained accomodation restaurant open for meals as well. Had the salmon and it was delicious! I was under the impression from the website that the horse buggy rides were operational they were not and have not been for some time! Horses in paddock at back of property.
