I always enjoy coming here, no matter the time of day. The food and service are consistently excellent. Steve was our server, and I couldn't have asked for a better birthday dinner.

When we arrived, we waited at a high-top table in the bar area for over 20 minutes before our server even partially acknowledged us; she seemed preoccupied having a conversation with the bartender. While the food presentation was appealing, with fried tomatoes, scallops, and fried chicken, the dishes themselves were quite bland and flavorless. The cauliflower rice had a strong burnt taste that was off-putting. The ambiance was pleasant, but ultimately, the experience was not worth the price, and I wouldn’t consider returning.

I had the filet with Demi glacé, which was generally tasty, but it definitely contained MSG, and I didn't think to ask about it beforehand. Unfortunately, I felt unwell for the rest of the night. The service was good, though. It was in the mid-60s outside, but the restaurant was quite chilly, so I had to go get my fleece because it was so cold in there. There were no beers on tap; the waitress mentioned something about politics in relation to that, which was surprising. I would have expected at least some beer options, and overall, the menu felt somewhat limited.
