Newk's Express Cafe - Ridgeland

I love newks in the regular good service of the employees, but can not understand for the world of me why they are closed sooo early at weekends! I can call 8:35 clock to go a newks q or whatever, and get the same answer I had before. “Honored man, we are no longer doing to order.” I am only surprised that a good place of eat will not remain open at least on Friday and/or Saturday and will not hold to succeed food until the actual closing time.

The newer Newk's locations in other parts of the country are much better. The older Newk's in the Jackson metro area really need improvement. It's disappointing because Newk's used to be one of my favorite spots. Now, I’ll have to wait until I visit Colorado to enjoy a better experience.

When I received the salad and saw that there were still no olives, I asked if they could add some. The young lady who took my order insisted that the olives were there, likely hidden under other ingredients. Staying calm, I explained that they weren't on the salad at all. She then went over to the salad preparer, who seemed annoyed by my request for olives. After tossing a few olives onto the salad, the staff member handed it back to me without offering any sort of apology. The customer service was seriously lacking; both women seemed to have a bad attitude. To add insult to injury, I tipped 15% each time, even for a to-go order. Unfortunately, this will be my last visit to this establishment.

Nice, clean spot in a convenient location. The staff are nice and food is always like I expect it. Come here a few times a month and never had an issue.

I got off work this past Friday night I wanted something new different. So I stopped by Newk's right here on Lake Harbour Dr. This was my very 1st time coming here. I ordered the full chicken bacon club sandwich a cup of chicken tortilla soup. My wife had the half sandwich pick a pair. She had the Newk's club a cup of chicken tortilla soup. I must say this was a pretty good meal. My sandwich was more than filling, prepared how I ordered it delicious. The chicken tortilla soup was hot seasoned just right. Overall I will say we definitely enjoyed the meal will be back again to try something different on the menu. Those pick a pair meal deals are the best.
