Ama Coffee - Ridgewood

Bubble tea, dumplings, and the best chai in Ridgewood. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The Vietnamese pork banh mi sandwich was delicious, with tender pieces of pork, shredded carrot, cucumber, and cilantro, served with aioli and a sprinkle of hot sauce for $10. I'm looking forward to trying their chicken version for $8.

They adore this restaurant because of its simple menu, but the flavors are fantastic! I don't know what they do with the crushed carrots that go into my pork banh mi, but it is a sweet and delightful surprise! The perfect amount of cilantro and the pork is a thicker cut, yet not tough at all. Very tender and I believe it's a type of BBQ pork. I always order my sandwich spicy and I love that the packaging is minimal. I also had a Thai iced tea boba, which had a good amount of caffeine and tasted delicious! Unfortunately, they do not offer a mixed ice version of boba (snow boba). The interior is really beautiful and the restaurant is clean. Overall, I had a great experience!

Best banh mi that I had ever. I lived in several big cities of the Usa with tons of Vietnamese restaurants. that is by far the best, as I wanted only one coffee and was pleasantly surprised. the flesh is so juicy, the brot so fresh. the banh mi couple super with Vietnamese ice cream!

I cannot speak to the food, but this is literally the worst coffee I have ever had. I have tried it twice, once in February 2020 and then again today. Nothing has changed, it tastes like watery sludge. It is also worth noting that this is by far one of the most expensive coffees in the neighborhood, at $8 for an oatmilk latte. Go to M&P or Norma’s or Topos or a bodega, literally anywhere is better and cheaper than here
