My family loves going to the Air Force Museum but this part just reeks of a bad contract. You can 't take outside food/drinks into the museum. While I am wholeheartedly in support of contributing to this free museum in any way I can, the cafe was way overpriced for terrible food options. The quote Torpedo Dog quote was just an oversized, plain hot dog that was $6.50. Prepackaged muffins (like at a gas station, not baked onsite which i can see paying more for) were $4.50 and $4.25. Chips are $2.00. They did have some cold turkey wraps and sandwiches in the refrigerator that I did not see until I had ordered the hot dogs. Regardless, the cafe missed the mark in my opinion. I recommend skipping this Cafe and try the Refueling Cafe that is near the space area. Or eating before you get to the museum.
Paid $6.85 for a “torpedo dog” which literally had nothing on it and the worker was so
Pizza was amazing but everything else was not too good. Too expensive for very below average food. Salads were old. Burgers don't have lettuce or tomatoes as advertised. Vegetarian options: Has a vegan burger and vegan pizza. Kid-friendliness: Has a very small kids menu.
Ok food. “No outside food or drink” and then they offer you only ok food as an alternative, and it’s very overpriced. The right way to do it is bring a picnic and eat outside in the summer time, or leave and eat at any of the surrounding restaurants and come back in the winter.
