Riverton Hotel

We were looking for a late lunch (1:45pm) on a Sunday in winter as we were passing through Riverton when we saw the lunch sign outside this hotel.On entry, we found they had just started closing down the kitchens. No other diners were present.The owners, a husband and wife team, we're happy to see what they could do for us. Adding to the issue is I am a coeliac requiring gluten free food. The grill had been turned off so steak was out of the question. Ended up having grilled fish which was well cooked, tasty and filling.Good traditional country pub fare is provided here.

A great country pub and well regarded locally. 7 of us dined and we were served promptly and effciiently. Good sized meals (some very large) with a self-serve salad and vegetable bar. Drinks were nicely priced.

Just needed a country meal and drinks and to get out of the heat. Good service friendly staff, ATM and limited services very small town but worth while stop over.

I Admit we didn't expect much when we walked in Very basic but the food was yummy Service great We will be back

Have dined here on several occasions when passing through, very reasonable priced and the food has always been fresh and ample. The owners and staff are always chatty and pleasant. Will keep coming back.
