Very sweet staff! Great traditional Cuban dishes, very large portions. This is arguably the cleanest restaurant in Roanoke. They are open on Sundays!
Cuban Island is my go-to when I'm looking for something different. The selection of authentic Cuban entrees, fresh fruit drinks, and a fun atmosphere keep me coming back. Their Cubano sandwich is a winner as is their Ropa Vieja dish. Go with rice and beans fried plantains and you'll be a very happy customer.The service is friendly and the restaurant is always clean.
