Veranda Bistro - Roanoke

Whenever we are in town, we make a point to enjoy at least one dinner here. The service is wonderful, they treat you like family here, and food is outstanding! We've tried just about everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. Being both Greek and Italian, that's really saying something. My kids say the pizza is life changing. I say the dessert is life changing lol!

The most extraordinary pizza I have ever eaten in my entire life. The crust was better than perfect with the flavor and texture. And the laid back atmosphere and excellent service along with that made it an unforgettable evening. Yes, we will definitely be going back more often! Thank you to Chris, Irene, family, and staff!

A must try!! The authentic home style Italian food was exceptional. From the amazing flavor of fennel in the sausage, the meatballs, stuffed shells, meat lasagna were just excellent. Go and treat yourself to an amazing dinner!!

Delicious authentic Greek food, nice dining area and patio, and fantastic staff. I got a sampler of Greek foods for restaurant week and enjoyed all of it. The gyro was delicious too. Best of all, the friendly owner personally greeted us and told us about some of the Greek traditions, which really personalized the experience.
