Waffle House - Roanoke

Tasty waffles. we tried a savory waffel with steak and iron, and a sweet waffel with melted chocolate. and extra hashbrowns. gooey chocolate, crispy hashbrowns, soft steak, which doesn't like:-d nothing much of an ambiente, though, type of fast eating and go type site.

A late dinner during the trip to Easter. What a great crew! Super friendly, friendly and fast service. Fortunately, not many other families there at this time because the place is quite small. Not sure how they deal with a rush of customers, but we were grateful that they were open and happy to sit on the open counter and watch how the guys work their magic! Yummy, simple comfort food served by a team that works very well together. One of the guys said he was new, but seemed to fit perfectly. Place was clean, although an upgrade might be required earlier than later.
