Well Hung Vineyard - Roanoke

This is a wine tasting room that also offers food service in downtown Roanoke. The venue is spacious and showcases a variety of wines produced by this winemaker, who sources their grapes from different vineyards. The wines are reasonably priced and quite good. We opted for a flight of four different wines, including both whites and reds. For our meal, we started with baked oysters as an appetizer, and for the main courses, we had a vegetable and cheese flatbread and salmon. The food was well-prepared and delicious. We truly enjoyed our experience and highly recommend it.

I popped in to WellHung for a midday wine and charcuterie sesh it was my first time there and they did not disappoint. I think “vineyard” in their name is pushing it a little bit, mostly bc the nice lady behind the bar couldnt even tell me where their grapes are grown… but nevertheless, I enjoyed myself what I tried (especially the Petite Verdot Reserve YUM). They have a wide variety of wine, bubbles, flights, slushies, cocktails and their Mill Mountain Charcuterie Plate is SOOO FRIKIN GOOD!!! Plenty enough for two people to share. I can’t speak to their main dishes yet, but will definitely be returning!!!

The wine selection, in particular, is quite expensive. Additionally, if you're out of several menu items, it's important to inform customers right away instead of making them guess while ordering. The atmosphere didn't come across as upscale as I had anticipated.

I visited for the first time and had a fantastic meal. While the bourbon selection was limited, the options available were excellent. We tried the brie and andouille crostini, cajun chicken, and andouille pasta, as well as the Full Monty flatbread. Everything arrived hot at our table, and the service was attentive and efficient. Everyone in our party was very satisfied. Thank you! We'll definitely be back soon.

Had a wonderful experience! Food was great, our server Liza was attentive and so fun! Wine flights were great option if you want to try a few different options. Special shoutout to the Gluten Free options (flatbread and dessert).
