Boomer's Sports Grill - Rockford

Great sports bar with awesome food. Friendly staff. Excellent staff. We had the wings and Italian beef both were excellent. Beer was cold. Taps tasted really clean. I will go back. V

Great place to grab drinks, but you better have NY cab calling skills in order to get any service. The owners need to re-evaluate the staff. The saying if you dont want to work well there is the door needs to be taught to this owner. Food was great. Slow but good. Fix the issues...your staff should never be sitting on their asses drinking. Period. Happens all the time in the pool area. Send them home! I should not wait 10 mins to buy a drink.

A pretty cool sports bar with plenty of screens screens and good beer prices and great ceiling and this place has been remodeled looking nicer than its outside nondescript strip mall location. This is definitely a good place to catch a game if in Rockford area. Good friendly service and way too plenty of parking.

I went to Boomer's for the first time last night to watch the NCAA tournament games and that proved to be a great spot for the games. They have plenty of large TV's and per our request they didn't hesitate to put the Wisconsin Badgers on their huge projector screen AND they even ran the sound through their speakers for us. I had HOT wings and they definitely lived up to their reputation of being hot and they exceeded my expectations. The owner then introduced himself to our group and he pointed out a few of the art murals on the wall (be sure to check out the amazing Cubs wall OR as I would like it to be called The Babe Ruth wall).

Food is surprisingly good but service is sorely lacking. There were just four table occupied but still needed to pry my server away from a table of regulars she was chatting with. Food prep was fine and quite good. Drink service and table service make this property a drive past.
