Zammuto's Drive In And Carry-out

I absolutely adore this place! There's truly nothing— and I mean NOTHING— that can compare to Zammutos' "Unusual." The fresh granita blended with soft serve ice cream is simply divine, especially on a hot summer day. Their food is fantastic too. I really appreciate our local gems!

I absolutely love their granitas! The food is good as well, but I usually find myself opting for the granitas every time.

What a treat!!! Had a famous italian unusual. Creamy light lemony soft serve ice cream perfectly paired with layers if icy cherry. It was like the dreamcicles we had as kids but awesome cherry ones. Delish! Also had their fried okra which was pretty good.

My family and I have been going here since the late 1980s... probably before that too. All I know is that nobody can make a granita the way Zammutos does! The unusual with Lemon ice cream on top of a granita is beyond delicious! I look forward to next visit here!
