Ruffino's Pizza Subs - Rocky Mount

I have visited this restaurant multiple times and like to support any businesses at the mall. This morning, I arrived at 11 o'clock right when they opened. I noticed a tray of pre-made pizza slices that had been taken out of the walk-in freezer. Before paying, I inquired whether I would be getting a fresh slice or one of those, to which the employee assured me it would be a fresh slice. However, he then proceeded to place those slices in the oven without much concern. Feeling unsatisfied, I decided to leave without the pizza and let them keep my money. I understand the importance of cutting costs, but the dishonesty of the employee was disappointing. Furthermore, the sanitation grade was an 87/B. This experience has caused me to no longer be a customer of this establishment.

The customer service was poor and an employee made a racial statement.

I ordered a grilled chicken salad and was extremely disappointed. The chicken was incredibly dry and it was concerning to see that the employees were not using gloves when handling condiments. I also noticed that their health rating was only 80%. I paid $10 for this subpar experience and will definitely not be returning to this restaurant at Golden East Crossing.

I went to this pizza place because I remember my mom taking me when I was young and I wanted to retry it, I got a supreme slice and it seemed like a slice of pepperoni pizza that was just covered in topping , it was a little bit cold. I was disappointed but I went back today a couple days later because I felt I just came on a bad day, I ordered the chicken calzone , that was very good. All in all I recommend the calzones , I don't blame them for the Supreme, just trying to use stock they prob needed to get rid of.

This is one of the few things I miss from living in rocky mount.My go to is the baked ziti.
