Clara - Roedovre

Most delicious traditional Danish food, I have tried in a very long time! High quality ingredients prepared to a very high standard. Prices are certainly very reasonable; and considering the high quality of food, excellent value for money. Excellent service from a professional and competent crew of waiters. My best restaurant experience in a very long time!

The service was quick and friendly, and the food was of a more than acceptable standard, though a little overpriced for what it was $40 Aus for a burger, fries and Coke . My Coke Zero, which I assume came from a post mix machine was cold, but pretty much flat. Was it the method they use to wash the glasses, or the machine itself? I don't know, but it was both a little irritating and disappointing. I didn't mention it to the staff, as I thought the alternatives were unappealing, so I just lived with it. The alternatives being it is replaced, and if it is the machine, or the glass washing method, the replacement would also be flat, or I could get those very small, extremely overpriced bottles of Coke, that only Cafe's seem to sell! . I wouldn't rule out a return visit, but at the same time, won't actively be seeking them out, either.

It's a small atmosphere restaurant with tasty Danish food!!! the owner was very polite and friendly. the place isn't far from the centre of Copenhagen and I will go again !!!

We sat down here for a cup of coffee and some cake. They have a great value deal for this coffee cake is 59dkk, which is amazing for the area. Coffee was good quality and the cake servings were generous. I don't know about the rest of the menu card, but their coffee cake will be our go to deal!

I have been visiting Clara many times, and I usually get the fish-platter, the so-called stjerneskud . If you don 't know what it is, try it the next time you are in Rødovre Centrum. They do serve Rødovre 's best stjerneskud!
