At first glance, the restaurant cannot be seen as such, even because it fits very well into the surroundings. It is located in a half-timbered house typical of this part of the Eifel. When entering, you should be prepared for a fluffy dog who greets the guests quite joyfully. In a Google review, we had read that some guests felt terrified because they had probably frightened them and went to dog ****. Since the other reviews were good and even in good stores the one or other emotional, disappointed polterer leaves out, we went in anyway. So we passed the Wauzi and were greeted by an older gentleman. He wasn't shaved, dressed a little inadvertently, as if he had just been thrown up from the TV chair. But all the sympathetic man, that's why it didn't bother us. As someone wrote here, the place is significantly larger than it initially works; at the entrance there is a bar and two small tables, probably more for drinking rounds and via a small staircase you get to the restaurant area, finally comes a winter garden that is well heated and then the right garden. We were the only guests, but I'm afraid the conservatory is treated as an outdoor area, so that through the basically open door the restaurant becomes a smoker restaurant again. But that's just a guess. The map was very clear and the prices were very salted. The main dishes cost almost all over 20 euros, the drinks are similarly overproportional (wine beer from the bottle 5€ , so that we have left a fair sum with almost 80€ for two. The food is very good and fresh from quality, so there are also the three stars. But for the price it's a little bit too. Extremely nervig was a couple that probably plans his wedding in this location. Another contribution here is that the owners probably work closely with a party service. Because we got a rather unusual time after hiking, we were the only guests to eat. It was therefore just as disturbing as unnecessary that the organizer sat down at the table right next to us and discussed all the details with the two in high volume. Unfortunately, this was also a bride from the blow: say it all 20 times instead of interrupting your flow of speech! so that even today we are still seeing that at 12:30 the wine will be delivered and the DJ will come around the same time so that you don't have to go twice. At any rate, we were very happy when people disappeared again with noise. Conclusion: Although food is good in itself, too many disturbing factors were in the game. In no case is a no-go, but there are too many other possibilities in the corner, which you probably take more into the narrower choice.
