Lamppost Coffee - Round Rock

Just the way a coffee shop should be; comfortable, casual, and friendly. Serves great coffee from local Round Rock roaster Wild Gift, and also from the very highly rated Austin-area Summermoon. The food's good too!

Stumbled upon Lamppost Coffee randomly and was super excited about a small non-corporate business. The staff was super friendly and took the time to talk through the special menu items. Drinks were delicious and staff followed up to make sure we were happy with our selections and they turned out ok. They did. If I'm in the area I will for sure, stop by here again.

Love this place! It's been a long time since I've enjoyed a coffee shop (not just their great coffee) so much! Espresso Milkshakes... Open late... Cool owner... Need I say more?

Lamppost is one of my favorite local coffee shops. Love the coffee, staff, and atmosphere.

I LOVE this place!! the atmosphere is comfortable inviting, the staff is super friendly knowledgeable, the food is delicious, and they seriously have the best coffee I've ever tasted. I'm not generally a spinach eater, but their spinach breakfast taco is my new favorite! I've tried several different drinks-the 1/2 summermoon latte (my go-to drink , the chai latte (it's like christmas in a cup! , the smoothies Italian sodas, and the Chemex (coffee so smooth I didn't even need cream or sugar! , and I can't pick a favorite-they are all hands-down better than anything I've tasted anywhere else! Great job, Lamppost!!
