Papi's Pies - Round Rock

Nice little place, went to lunch and we ordered the quiche, and tried the strawberry rhubarb cake, both were delicious.

Today for lunch. that was my second time here and they are officially amazing. the nicest people, the sweetest decoration, local art to buy, and every single bite was absolute perfection. I'm so happy that this caffe only makes a few miles my house.

For the birthday my wife has got me a pancake of papi. and while the torte crust was one of the best I cost, I found the rest of the torte to be tart. while I'm not a baker or expert, I've eaten a lot of apple cake in my time. and if there is a thing that I know is that a apple cake should never be tart, unless it catering for a particular palate. it should be soft and sweet, but not excessively sweet. Finally, it is an American classic. maybe papi just has a series of tamed apples this time around and will hopefully try to do something better with this classic cake.

OMGSH!!!!! I give it a 100% their food is so tasty and so flavorful. The food is made with love! The spot is cute and small but worth visiting! I will go back for sure!
