Skinny Bob's Billiards Sports

I’ve visited Skinny Bob's a few times while attending the Texas Open. Although I'm not local, my experience working in various pool halls has motivated me to write this review. The staff at this establishment is outstanding. During such a major event, they showcased incredible teamwork and ensured that every customer received prompt service. It's not often you come across a team as impressive as this one. A big shoutout to Pat, Lindsey, Adam, and Shayla—they were all fantastic! It's essential to recognize that a great staff often reflects strong leadership, and Shayla truly shined. She was consistently present with her team throughout the event and jumped in to assist whenever needed. She definitely deserves recognition for her dedication! The food was a bit pricey for our taste, and it would have been nice to have more options beyond fried items, but overall, it was good. However, after a few days, the limited choices do become apparent.

This is a fantastic spot to enjoy playing on the spacious tables. Smoking is permitted, but the atmosphere is not overly smoky, making it a comfortable environment.

The restaurant needs to create an outdoor smoking area. The smell inside is overwhelming. While the tables are excellent and the staff is friendly, keeping the smoking area indoors is a bad idea. It will deter more customers than it attracts. This doesn’t make sense from a business standpoint or a practical one. The odor is off-putting and gives the place a dingy feel.

Smoke is terrible and cigars next to us. Had fun playing pool but we had a small issue with the bill. Talked to the manager but she was very rude and condescending. Wife and I will not be returning.

Came here with a friend. This is a nice pool hall. It does allow smoking but it wasn't that bad. Great atmosphere and service. I like the tables and balls. Sticks are ok. Will come back to play.
