Can be crazy busy and as in any restaurant, this can be problematic as I found on the other day at a late breakfast. Worried to me the least, it found that it was a relaxing place, also in the middle of the troop and the food was worth more than waiting as the coffee. Genuine food is really well served in Rowlett, who would it be?
Six of us met on Thursday evening for drinks and appetizers. I had a Peach Bellini and it was very good and my husband had a margarita. He loved his margarita. Others also enjoyed their drinks. For appetizers we tried the duck wings, Calamari, 2 cheese plates, nachos and the crab cakes. I don't usually eat crab cake if I'm not in Maryland, but they were good. Beautiful lump meat is used and it is not all bread. Calamari was good. I like small sizes because they're not so chewing. The sauce was very good. My husband's favorite was the duck. He loved the sweeter sauce for diving. I preferred the spicer. Both were good. The nachos were very interesting. Fun flavors, but glad we had other possibilities. The cheese plates were excellent. My favourite was the goat's cheese spread on a baguette slice and then I sprinkled dried cranberries on top. The baked brie was also very good. Our waiter was very attentive and very accommodating. Shannon, the manager also visited us and made sure we were happy. Next we meet for breakfast!
