Royal Buffet - Rowlett

I like the restaurant itself, but we went at a weekend night at 5 or 5:30 in the night, so the buffet should be good on camp and ready to go to the evening rush hours. it was missing from a set of regular favorites or they were not there at all, in addition to messy. the server were not perceptible for their needs of the protective cartridges and we had to ask for every beverage refill, every time we needed something, we had to throw someone over (to which we were shown a print of light agitation) because we broke up their little talks more than once. then, when we were ready to go, we asked for a cup to go and the dame literally rolled her eyes and stole to get it. wow. okay. and this is one of the reasons why I rarely eat more. a good customer service is rare and difficult to find.

I went around 6pm for dinner hoping the food were hot and fresh. Most of the food were still from lunch dried up and burnt. They only bring fresh food once that item is gone. My server did good picking up my dirty plates and refilled my water but wasn't polite except when I gave her nice gratuity got excited. The person at front didn't great me when I came in and say Thank you when I left. I've been to several Chinese Buffet restaurants the farthest I've been in Arlington and I lived in Dallas. This place for sure not coming back. I know some people been to this place have different opinions than mine. My suggestion to these people is try to go different places for Chinese Buffet. You'll find out what I'm talking about. Best Chinese Buffet so far is King Buffet in Plano.

We went in and it was very warm and smart. we didn't think much of it. the waitress got our drink order and we went to the buffet area, and over 30% of the items were not available. the items that were actually available were cold and questionable, lol! we had already gone there, so we go on and eat there?! we sat on the table again and took a few bites, and it was like cold baby food?! we told the manager that we were not satisfied and would like to go. we told her that eating was cold, and she took her bare hands/fingers and began to taste our food and said: “It’s warm, it’s warm....” what the devil?! she tried to give us our tastes, who say since we eat (only a few bites), we had to stop paying because (all can eat) and we ate everything we could eat?? I was amused and at the same time upset, lol!

Good all you can eat buffet with decent Hibachi grill and seafood/ sushi on the weekends.Update: My oh my, how things have changed in four years. I will no longer eat here, the food is dried out, greasy and not kept at proper temperature. It's not safe to eat. The place is dirty, bathrooms are not clean. Health Inspector needs to pay them a visit.

The food was over cooked and there wasn't any fresh foods or out. It wasn't tasty I was disappointed I paid 111.00 for my family to eat and no one wanted seconds. I'm sorry but not good. The server we had was wonderful.
