La Piazza Italian Restaurant Bar

Well apparently a manager say you can't add bacon and cheese to your side fries with burger because it becomes an appetizer.... but you 12.99 Fettuccini can add .50 for Spinach and 3 for chicken... it don't make sense that you can alow an upcharge on one dish but not another...... thanks to the Manger on duty tonight for making trip out ... horrible experience.... the waiter did a great job... thanks...

First and last time I'll ever eat there. Asked server for straws with our drinks. 15 minutes later she came back without. We asked again. Finally got straws after half an hour. Then finally got to order appetizers. 30 minutes later they came out with no plates. Asked server for plates. Decided to start eating appetizers before they got cold. Didn't get plates until pizza finally arrived. It was almost cold. In the 2 1/2 hours we were there, server only came by once to refill drinks. After getting a to-go box waited an additional 15 minutes for server to bring us the check. Server needs a new occupation. Managers need to pay attention. Bad food, even worse service. Ultimate disappointment.

Bartender and beers were very good, but the chicken wings not so much...greasy, overfried and lacking flavor. Bathrooms could use a redo too, looking a little rough for such a nice restaurant.

(Edit line: Yes I 'm referring to LaPiazza on Abbit st in Roxboro. look up 1/6 /24 at 7:08pm! This place is a cluster. Poor management, no teamwork amongst employees, servers arguing with kitchen staff. Both of my pizzas took 35mins and both weren 't even fully cooked.Servers literally congregating at registers, complaining about customers, refusing to work together to run food , and picking/eating food off customers plates while waiting to be delivered to tables.Obviously the employees are poorly trained and this falls on the owners and management. I witnessed about 10 MAJOR health code violations in the 35 mins I waited for a To go order.I will never return ,unless the entire staff is replaced and properly trained on how to run a restaurant, as this is the 3rd time in 4 months to experience a major issue with this establishment.

They were super busy and yet we were seated, served and eating within a very reasonable amount of time. Great food too!
