Rising Sun Bakery Market - Roxboro

The shops here are nice, but seem to be subject to a high rent, as prices on items are slightly above what I expected. The remaining room was clean and well filled. The shopping center is clean and pleasant to the eye once inside with a loft style feeling.

I love shopping here. Such unique gifts or things for your home. Also makes for a fun day with friends. I never leave empty.

We were a big follower of the shops of Hallway, love all small shops until this last week. We ordered a salted caramel chocolate cake from the Belles Choses Baking for my wife's birthday, and it was a big disappointed! It was chocolate, but no caramel, with salt on freezing and as dry as it was old, not fresh. She stopped there today to talk to the owner about her cake, and they were packed, closed, goodbye, empty! We seriously believe that the employees pulled this old cake out of their shop window, sprinkled salt on it and sold us for $35! Not sure where they moved, but we will not support this bakery again.

The bakery/restaurant as well as the other gift shops in Hall’s Way offer support for local business and wonderful variety. Local shopping, buy locally! Great bathroom factor too. There is an entrance from the rear parking lot near the pavilion directly south of the courtyard.

Small bussness is SO IMPORTANT! I am greatly exited for my family to be opening the Gordon Stree Cafe at this location! Beautiful building and wonderful peoeple. A must see if you stop through Roxboro.
