Nice little cafe bar with an alcohol licence in case you fancy a nice lager or a wine. Normally just do coffee and a nice baguette or wrap. The quiches are brilliant though, according to my wife. The cakes also are excellent and all home made, if you’re not on a diet that is. It’s our go to place in Rugby and we go in most weeks. Has to be the best one in the area for both food and price.
If i didn't know that this place was here I wouldn't have wandered around to the church side arcade. Anita the owner makes most of the things on the premises so you can be guaranteed a lovely fresh cake or homemade soup. She even offers to book it out for private bookings
I attended a private function at this lovely little cafe today, but had forgotten to inform the host, before the day, of my gluten free requirements. The wonderful owners went out of their way to supply me with an array of gluten free sandwiches, when I talked to them about my predicament, which I was very grateful for! Really wonderful service from very friendly owners, I will definately be back to sample the lovely sounding gluten free cakes that are made especially for the shop by the owner!
Attended an event here with friends and was a little disappointed. Our afternoon tea was a little boring. Sandwiches were a little dry as was the sponge cake. We paid £32 for a cake stand of goodies for two which seems quite expensive I’m not sure the cakes were homemade/freshly baked. The ladies were very attentive throughout the evening but it all felt a bit rushed and rather average.
