The Old Crown Inn Snarestone - Rura

Just stopped by for a drink, a pub from my childhood 50 years in the past ,glad to see some of the original fittings still here. It would be nice to see the big old fireplace opened up again. Definitely coming back soon.

Just stopped for one on our way past. Very sunny day with barely any shade in the beer garden. One customer walked their dog right over to us and stood there while it had a wee right next to our table then walked off without a word. A little strange and rude. Won't be going again.

Good selection of local beers, very welcoming and friendly.

Looking forward to a birthday lunch for mom. But they had two large tables of 19 and 24 and kitchen could not cope with any more. Shame we had a lovely meal there a couple of months ago.

We visited both the Crown and bens kitchen! Bens kitchen was fantastic we highly suggest it for a evening out! Food was 'pub classics ' done the way you imagine them in dreams! The steak was phenomenal and the chunky chips are a must have!!! Staff were fantastic and never left us wanting!!! We will definitely be coming back!
