Wimpy - Rushmoor

The Wimpy restaurant, once a rare sight in the 80s, is now hard to come by. Luckily, I have two locations within 15 miles of me - Marlow and Farnborough. Despite visiting both locations multiple times, I've noticed a stark difference in the quality of the food. While both restaurants are clean and the staff are friendly, the food at Farnborough always falls short of my expectations. It just doesn't taste like the Wimpy I remember from my childhood. On the other hand, the food at Marlow is exactly how I remember it, reminiscent of its Buckinghamshire roots. It's interesting to note that all Wimpy restaurants are now franchised, but the disparity in taste between these two locations is quite noticeable.

I went to get a milkshake one time it was 4 pound altogether I gave 10 pound and I didn't get the right change the meals are delicious and sometimes the drinks are a bit icky

I brought 12 people to celebrate my daughter's birthday at this restaurant. Unfortunately, two members of our party were seated at a separate table behind a pillar. I had to rearrange the seating myself as the staff provided no assistance. The staff seemed unenthusiastic and disinterested, ignoring my requests for help with a spilled drink or clearing tables. I was informed that they were short staffed, but that was not my problem. The ice cream took an unusually long time to arrive, and then we were rushed to finish our meal as the restaurant needed our table. Overall, I was very disappointed with the service and will not be returning.

The food at this restaurant is high quality and the menu is simple. The staff is welcoming and attentive. This is a great place for people who want a fast meal without the nostalgic feel of the Big Mac era.

Very clean inside and the food was fresh. The staff was very attentive and nice. Excellent quick lunch spot for a good value.
