Del Posto 2409 - Rye

Ordered a couple of the pastas including the lamb pasta. Was very impressed with the presentation, service and quality of the food. Finally a lamb pasta with fresh lamb that contains a bit of fat to give it flavour!! Probably one of the best rigatoni dishes I have ever had. Though I might say the portion size could be a little more for the price and the space was cramped especially during busy hours. Will be back!

What a charming little space , very cute and staff friendly . I will say the menu is not the largest I’ve ever seen but with that comes the perfection of what they do they do brilliantly.Started with the bread , warm fresh and crusty . Highlights were by far the ravioli special with a pumpkin purée base , gnocchi with beef Ragu and crispy potatoes which were extremely crispy! Would recommend and return .

Del Posto is outstanding. The bistro was strongly recommended to us by a close friend who visits this area often and knows good food and wine. How right our friend was. We loved it here. It is clearly one of the best restaurant experiences on the Peninsula.<br/ <br/ We lunched at Del Posto with friends and had a wonderful time. There was much here that was memorable. The croquettes were beautiful. Beautifully crumbed, soft and full of flavour. The sardines were utterly superb too. The spatchcock was easily the best I’ve ever had. Beautifully flavoured and so moist. The sides were beauties too, especially the potatoes. We loved the desserts as well, particularly the tiramisu and creme brûlée. The latter had the most beautiful flavour.<br/ <br/ Detail is taken very seriously here. It is evident in everything from the joyous descriptions of the dishes to the beauty of the dishes themselves. The meal was a tour de force from the beautiful opening bread and olive oil, through each of the gorgeous dishes and onto the final coffees and limoncello. Lovely selection of wines too including very good Italian and local wines. Service was as wonderful as it could be. It was exceptional.<br/ <br/ Del Posto offers an outstanding dining experience at very affordable cost. We’ll be back very very soon. Do not miss it. Highly recommended.

My family and I went to this restaurant for our anniversary dinner tonight. There were 2 adults and 3 kids in our group. The service was excellent, our waiter explained the specials of the day and recommended options for the children right away. We ordered our meals and asked for a wine recommendation. The waiter suggested a delicious Italian wine, which also happened to be the most affordable option by the bottle on the menu. The complimentary warm bread was a nice touch. Our appetizers, stuffed zucchini flowers and octopus, were delicious. The kids enjoyed their penne carbonara and beef cheek dishes, which were flavorful and came in generous portions for only $12 each. The main pasta dishes, especially the parpadelle, gnocchi, and squid ink lasagne, were exceptional. Every bite was heavenly! Unfortunately, we didn't have room for dessert, but we will definitely be back to try it next time.
