Lastingham Grange - Ryedale

The country house hotel ambience is fantastic. The atmosphere is lovely and the food is very good, although it may be a bit expensive. But really, who cares?

Had an excellent meal at Lastingham Grange. The food was excellent and the service was friendly. The ambience is typical comfortable country hotel. Excellent value and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening

We have a bed and breakfast in Wrelton located about 5 miles away, and we will be sure to recommend this restaurant to our guests.

I took my friend out for their birthday and it was a wonderful experience that we will never forget. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

We had an excellent meal starting with a drink and canopays on the terrace outside overlooking the garden. There was a good selection of starters we both had the crab and shrimp pot. There was then a soup course or sorbet followed by the main, my wife had lamb I had poached sea trout. There was a good selection of deserts and to round it off we were offered a selection of Yorkshire cheeses off the cheese board. We had booked an overnight stay which was very comfortable. I was not long out of hospital and had not been eating well, so to tuck into this meal it was a real bonus. Also recommmend the cream tea.
