The beginning was that my heart's favorite arrived days ago with the proposal to visit the absolutely unknown restaurant Bruchwiese at noon; she only knew it from passing, had never eaten there. So order a table today at 1 p.m.; as the rupture meadow also has a small beer garden and the weather was at 30°C and very sunny, we were allowed to choose whether we wanted to sit inside or outside. The tribal meals here cost all uniform EUR 16,00; the price also includes the choice between the day soup and a salad. We both take the day soup that was today a asparagus cream soup. She came quickly and was very hot; she tasted intensely after asparagus and at the bottom of the little lion's head troughs where she was served, found asparagus pieces that still had bites. We were very happy with this soup. My wife, as her main dish, found three slices of veal cream roast and a rather large block of potato gratin on her plate. In the sauce there were pieces of a slightly acidic apple; from the Saucen components Calvados I did not taste the trace.
