Pavilion and nearby surroundings say playground and Ponyhof can be rented for weddings, childbirth days etc. The Uhu Pavilion houses the animal park gastronomy; outside the pavilion itself there are also outdoor dining with grill, a small beer garden and a larger tent; the tent has only taken over the pavilion since the Haddzi family. During the season the pavilion is open daily between 11 am and 9 pm. Now is already low season; I think that late in the dark is closed and in winter will only be open on weekends. Ambience: rustic and simple; Children will have their joy here anyway and adults will know what they expect at the latest after the first visit, two and a half stars. Cleanliness: it is quite clean in the gazebo itself, in the outside area, an employee struggled with the fallen foliage and the wind, which did not just facilitate his work. Given the adverse circumstances, I forgive very well-intentioned three stars. Service: If I take the Lord behind the Tresen as a measure, there are three stars, I would concentrate on evaluating myself alone on the lady at the outer grill, who literally looked out of the eyes of any frustration, two stars would be almost too much. Gives on average two and a half stars. P.S. In the outside area is self-service. Food and drink: The map is small and has Saarland specialities like Dibbelabbes Co. to offer. There are two lunches; today the pig-snake steak would have been with supplements (the second lunch court is no longer memorable). White or red rust sausages, curry sausages and crêpes are obtained at the outer grill against the presentation of a corresponding male to be found at the vase and paid equally (who does not know is running twice). On the other hand, the meat comes from the hunting academy of the extremely busy Mr. Wüst, which is connected to the well-known Linslerhof in Überherrn. Price performance: is o.k. Three stars. Conclusion:My the youngest granddaughter was quite adorable at the last visit, especially by the younger guinea pig; we were today, here almost stranded, not necessarily adorable, but it was a nice stay. During the next visit, probably hardly before the next spring, one of the three signposted paths will be taken under the soles: Eulen-Weg, about 750 m goat path, about 1.500 m Luchs path, about 1.,750 m. All three are, although equipped with various pitches, also suitable for children's or wheelchairs. Maybe there's wild roast sausage again.
The children love the wildlife park. I find the drinks very expensive, but for once it's okay. And for the tour we have our hiking bag. We've seen many animals even the lynx this time.
The food at the Uhu Pavilion looks not only great, it is also incredibly delicious. Those who travel in the Saarbrücken Wildpark should not miss it! The prices are suitable for a day trip and both the service staff and the owners are always friendly and well-launched. Lunch at Uhu Pavilion has already developed into a weekly ritual for us. Always happy!
Excellent food with pleasant portions and reasonable prices. The services are very nice. The cakes are homemade and recommended only. There is also a children's playground nearby.
