Whaleback - Sagamore

I had an incredible seafood plate that truly exceeded my expectations. For just $20, it's hard to find a better value anywhere in the state. The dish was piled high with scallops, shrimp, and shellfish, all resting on a generous fillet of fish instead of the usual fries you find at other places. Plus, the service was quick and efficient. Without a doubt, this spot has the best seafood prices on the Cape!

The restaurant may be small, but it definitely attracts a crowd. Whether you choose to eat in or take out, the fried seafood is outstanding! It's cooked perfectly to my liking, with just the right amount of crispiness and freshness. You wouldn't believe the prices if I told you—let's just say it's better to get a generous plate of fish and chips instead of a basic burger and large fries from a typical fast-food place.

This unassuming bar boasts fantastic seafood. We arrived just as a fish truck was leaving, which was a good sign. We tried the seafood platter—it was massive, served warm, and absolutely delicious. My only minor gripe was that the tartar sauce had a bit too much turmeric for my liking, and I would have appreciated lemon wedges on the plate. The lobster roll was incredibly fresh and generously filled; you could really taste the lobster. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely visit again.

Hidden gem! The best lobster roll and fried seafood platter on the Cape. The people working and the locals were all so kind. Will definitely be back!

Delicious food, honest staff, and amazing prices. 10$ for lobster rolls which taste better than 20$ ones, incredibly crispy and juicy wings, and all around big delicious portions for cheap. Required visit when coming to Sandwich, MA.
