My wife and I had dinner here at our last night in the Tours area and the food was delicious. We did finally discover the secret of getting those really small, but tasty French cuisine portions, just go to a more expensive restaurant, like this one! We had the Veal artichoke, the Dorado with vegetables, the Asparagus in the garden (trippy presentation) an some nice French pastry deserts. No menus in English, but you find a way to work it out. The restaurant was recommended to us by locals so we knew we were in good hands.
A very tasty meal in a very nice restaurant. Hailing from Ireland it did seem a bit minimalist but the food could not be faulted. The service was also friendly and prompt. My only (minor) complaint would be a very limited choice of entrees.
You like it or you loathe it. Of course I like it and this is a place where it is wonderfully tasty.
