Rum Vault - Saint James

We made a reservation as soon as we knew we were heading to Barbados. We scheduled it for one of the last days of our vacation. After a 60-minute drive to the Rum Vault, we arrived only to be told that they were overbooked. This was incredibly disappointing.

A quiet enjoyable evening Flights Bites with a limited but delicious food menu and very good rum cocktail pairing. At first we thought the cocktails were pre selected, but we were pleasantly surprised by some creative concoctions. Top it off with a flight of special rums (Foursquare in my case) and it was a delightfully mellow and educational evening. Very recommended for those who want to explore some great rum and good food. We 're hoping to try one of their other pairing events in the future.

I very seldom give 5 star reviews or full points as there is usually room for improvement. Tonight, I gladly deviate from the norm as I give tonight’s experience 10 out of 10. Every single aspect of the evening was part of a collective. It was not an event, but an experience. From the ambiance to the extremely knowledgeable Mr. Corey Sobers who took us on a journey of discovery, to the food, the company and of course, what we came for.... THE RUM, I can truly say that every one should do themselves a favour and give The Rum Vault a try. I have a newfound respect for rum!

This was one of the best decisions for dinner I made. It was a fantastic dinner and cocktails to suit each meal. Props to Shane and cory on the cocktail mixes and educating us on the many rums they have there.
